 The provincial administration institutions of the 04 major cities, 06 city councils and 37 regional councils in the Central Province are bound by the established law to efficiently, effectively and satisfactorily serve the expectations of the people. In fulfilling the primary objectives of creating happiness and prosperity for the people’s service, information technology has become a key tool in the present day. In this regard, the Gampola City Council has opened a new web portal, expanding the horizons of information technology, and this approach has become a highly commendable achievement in the global arena. I see it. I join my heartfelt congratulations to the entire staff of the City Council, including the Secretary, for this initiative, and I wish you all the strength and courage to provide a more fruitful and productive service to the people by utilizing information technology

❧The Message of the Secretary ➺

"It is a great responsibility to strengthen the council fund and use it in a planned manner for effective functions, achieved through generating income and collecting revenue. This aims to provide public utility services within the jurisdiction of the Gampola Municipal Council. To accomplish these tasks, the tax funds contributed by the residents within the jurisdiction should be managed transparently. We are fully prepared to work with utmost commitment in order to enhance the efficiency of public services.
